Heat pumps are complex systems which need annual maintenance to ensure long lasting efficient performance. Getting an installation from Orangehouse Renewables is normally the start of a long-term relationship.

It is a condition of the Boiler Upgrade Scheme and manufacturer warranties that air source, water source and ground source heat pump systems are serviced annually (a bit like getting your car MOT and service). We undertake services to make sure everything is clean and working properly, to try to identify problems before they occur and to help keep your system running with maximum efficiency.

Orangehouse Renewables offer annual service and maintenance agreements for both new and existing clients. Our specialist engineers regularly resolve issues where many other companies have tried and failed. We have relationships with all the main heat pump manufacturers so can get specialist technical advice and spare parts as required.

We are often called to breakdowns where systems have not been installed by us. We are happy to come and assist, but we would implore you to thoroughly research installers before investing your money. We often see undersized systems with cheap fittings which cost more to run because they have to work harder and which ultimately fail. Don’t spend the money saved on a cheap system getting it mended, replacing faulty parts and in some cases even replacing the heat pump – we’ve seen it all!
